I love watching Dr Pol. It’s clear that he loves animals.
There was one situation though, that bothers me to this day.
A young woman came in with a year old Lab that wasn’t feeling well. X-rays determined that the dog had eaten a sock. The woman started wailing because she couldn’t afford the surgery. So Dr Pol, rather than do the surgery as a gift, put that dog down.
This really upset me. I’ll never forget it.
