From someone who despised "the last jedi", I was very pleased to see it mostly undone by this film. The critics are destroying "the rise of skywalker" for idiotic reasons like, and I quote, 'too much fan servicing' and 'it swerved hard to retcon the last jedi' - - and they are serious about this as if it is a bad thing! Rise isn't perfect, but it is the best JJ Abrams could pull off after the utter disgrace of episode VIII. Thank you JJ for putting fans first this time! Thank you! Guys, this one is definitely for the fans. It corrects the last jedi in nearly every way it realistically can. Remember the critics loved the last jedi and that was an awful film that dismissed everything episode 7 stood for. Now they are hating on this one because it mostly ignores the previous one. FANS, WATCH THE MOVIE AND MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND. It is by far the best of all the sequels.
