As a huge fan of Studio Ghibli films, I love finding other diamonds in the anime world similar to Ghibli. Your Name is a STUNNING film. I highly recommend to any anime lover especially those of you that enjoy Studio Ghibli films. It has the humour (like Kiki’s delivery service) the other-worldy aspect (like howl’s moving castle) as well as normal lives and stories (like from up on poppy hill). Those are just some examples of the mix you get with this film. The visuals are outstanding, and the story is beautiful and somehow makes switching lives with someone actually believable! Acting is wonderful and the ending is perfection in my opinion. Not necessarily what you expect, but beautifully concluded! It has excellent suspenseful moments and it really keep you guessing. I also find the film extremely engaging, makes you fall in love with the characters and feel what they’re going through every step of the story. In conclusion, if you enjoy anime, make sure you watch this film. It’s a must, you won’t regret it!
