I've only just started to watch the first series. I absolutely love it. And as for the young boy playing 'Alan Carr'.... talk about a rising star of the future. Hopefully he will be managed and nurtured well so he can develop into his full potential .....

Extremely well acted, very sensitive and well written dialogue. Not an easy watch for anyone that has experienced any of the subjects covered in the drama. The gentle, thoughtful pace won't suit the audience that demands big lavish dramas, full of twists and cliff hanger, with unrealistic sexual exploits. It attempts to be real, realistic and as the scripts said 'life is messy'.

Extremely compelling. Incredibly moving final episode. I think everyone remembers where they were when the world found out what happened. Very clever editing between drama and real footage. Also gave a glimpse behind the curtain of how the intelligence services deal with terrorists and the internal politics between agencies.. A fascinating watch just wished for less need of subtitles....
