So, I think this biass review will talk to the viewers that don't need all that big worded storytelling review. As a fan of the Marvel community and anything superhero related, I honestly never heard of the "Morbius" character. Reading the movie details I was interested enough and was more drawn in when I saw Marvel had a play in it. Within the first 45 minutes I kinda already got the "Batman" vibe but this actually put a new, more relatable backstory to what could have actually happened to create the icon known as Batman to better lay out perhaps a new outlook of a what could be a pretty nice series of movies. The concept that the actress Adria Arjona plays could be a nice brain teaser to the character "Catwoman" who in the Batman franchise was a very close confidont as well as enemy to the Batman. Another good future thought to branch this story. Now with all that said, I will give a prediction IF this movie continues or maybe call it some bias advice from a diehard fan. I think the next chapter could involve our hero here, Morbius finding out his best friend or now ex best friend, Matt Smith hasn't really died but found a new, more enhanced serum leading into a maybe Batman (Morbius) vs Scarecrow story. Again that's just my own opinion. As we all know when it comes to the Marvel / comic book world vused into movie magic, anything is possible. In closing I think a well written review could be used to catapult any film in a direction it can go based off of knowledgeable fan feedback seeing as we the "viewers" are literally what keeps these amazing concepts of movies alive so feel free to tack on some ideas to this post if you want and maybe the movie gods will listen. Summing up, I think this movie was all around a great watch if you're a comic book fan or even a first time viewer of the genre as it gives a fresh new look as well as some true thrown in grit on the already captivating storytelling Marvel does. With that I give it a good 4.5 rating. The last 5 I throw to potential. As always this has been my bias review from David Lasowitz keeping your movie entertainment on the DL.
