Maybe not the best crime drama, but a very,very good one. Great acting, especially Robert Duvall who stands out in this one. . DeNiro is OK but he seems to be going through the script without any emotion at all, maybe it's just me,but Duvall is the stand-out. Only complaint is, I wish there was a little more detail on the character 'BRENDA". Without giving the ending away, more background would of been a plus. . Finally, but certainly not last, Burgess Meredith is (as always) Briliant. .Just an all around Very good movie ! ! ! ! !
