I LOVED this movie. I’m a huge fan of the old Charlie’s Angels and immediately after watching this went home and rewatched the old ones for nostalgia (they’re on Netflix btw). I was so excited to see Kristen Stewart in an upbeat role and girl KILLED it. I loved all the new Angels and appreciated the plot twist. The movie had old costumes from the original movies and tons of winks toward them as well. I was concerned they were just starting a new Charlie’s Angels saga, but it’s a continuation of the old. My boyfriend watched it with me and he loved it as well (found out he’s not a fan of the old ones when we watched them after). As far as the feminist aspects; it’s a movie about female spies, what do you expect? 100% would recommend.
