As an animator this show really feels like the next step for animation as a storytelling platform. Mature animation from the west is rare and with the beautifully seamless blend of 3D and 2D techniques Arcane captures all the fluidity and expansiveness while still maintaining a very unique visual charm and gestural/painterly impressionism. The story itself is an absolute delight and really connects to something deeper and more emotional than I'd ever expect to find in a video game adaption. As a fan of League, and the world of Runeterra that Riot has built, this is a real delight to see the things merely hinted at by the shallow gameplay come to full, rich, three dimensional life on screen. I wish I could watch all 9 episodes in an Imax haha a round of applause for Riot Games and let's make Fortiche Studios a household name, these artists deserve ever ounce of praise
