I absolutely love the Rifleman. I've watched every episode of the show many, times. Most of all love the character Lucas played by Chuck Connors who's not only handsome, but dynamic, smart, cool and a good example as a father to Mark. But, what I also love about the show is the great + versatile cast of actors and the down-home values in the stories. Lucas sometimes gives a quote from the Bible which you don't often find in Westerns. And the running 'theme' in the show that 'everyone deserves a second chance '. (Wish there were not so many shootings and beatings in all the shows, but I guess that was popular then?) My Absolute FAVORITE Episode of All Time was Season 1 episode10 - New Orleans Menace !! Especially at the very end. Don't want to give away the line I love, but when the evil Sènor Tiffauges tries to kill Lucas + true to form - Lucas faces him with the courage of a Lion ! 😉❤
