2/5. This movie should have been released in 2010 or 2011 itself. Seems like james Cameron written the script on those years. From last 13 years audience are exposed to many masterpiece movies and Netflix shows with the latest technology. This movie is no where close to his previous one's like Aliens, Terminator, Judgment day, The Abyss or Titanic or even the Avatar 1. Though avatar 1 has simple story but it's revolutionary in technical aspects including character development and depth in future technology in the screenplay , it has more detail in the story. But Avatar the way of water is a movie that never should have made, especially by one of the best Hollywood director, whom we expected a lot from his movies. It is the weakest movie of james Cameron... Period.

Really over hyped movie, too much violence in the whole movie from starting to end. So much unnecessary buildup for hero, it's not required. Only for mass audience, can't watch with family. 3/5.
