This movie is not blasphemous, I would have believed in bible ( or Christ) if he was depicted in a way like this in bible. I can't correlate the Jesus in bible and the belief of ' god become man' , he has been heavenly( heavely) glorified there. How can we say that God become flesh if he is not showing any human emotions at all...ha it's all a fiction..magical realism. The movie is class apart and a brutally underrated work of Scorsese ,like others said one shoul watch it open minded
