You better have faith in God and know the hunaman chalisa by heart before watching this movie. Not because its scary but because it's eerily uncomfortable. Yes. Uncomfortable. Allow me to elaborate:
1. This gives you the real life chills because you'll be the only one in the theater. I know, i was.
2. This movie has more songs than possessions and more music than disney musicals. I am NOT exaggerating.
- oh there is a ghost chasing me, let's sing a song.
- oh I'll tell you that story of the dead woman, but let me also tell you all about the 2 songs that we sang in that memory. (Song-ception)
- oh i am dying but one more song please.
- in simple words, unhappy ho ya happy roz gao ganne. *RIP*
3. So where were we, oh yeah. Haha. The ghost needs to make up it's mind, you scared or not scared of god because we sure are getting mixed signals.
4. I think one must stick to courage the cowardly dog series, because Amavas, seriously, tumse na hopayi.
And no, please don't give me the, "oh easy for you to criticise, why don't you make a movie." my answer is, "areee chance toh do!!"
P.s. tumbbad is the mother of horror. Go watch that. you'll thank me for saving you this amavas. (literally)
