The show enough worth of watching, especially for the costumes who are STUNNING, but he has a serious problem: the lack of character development. Sencer stay a STATIC character, a good character but a static one. Terken Hatun and Gevher Hatun also suffer from that lack of morality grey which make them balloon characters, scriptwriting speaking. We understand their motivations, we see that they remain human with weak points and strong points but we do not always understand their reasoning or their logic. My main regret about this show is also with the lack of really interesting and nuanced characters. The writers are perfectly capable of, like Zübeyde Hatun or Nizamülmuk, but most of them are sometimes too simple (Turna), too static (Sencer) or, as I said, badly condensed (Turna & Gevher).
