This my friends... this is a cinematic masterpiece. This very well may be the best Barbie film in the entire barbie franchise. The production, direction, animation, music all was fantastically produced.
In the movie, the difference in social classes between the two girls is shown from the very start. This movie not only educates on both ends of the social class spectrum, but shows that two people in these groups can get along.
Not only that, but this movie inspires young girls. In the song "Free", Erika and Anneliese both sing the line, "duty means doing the things your heart may well regret". This line tells that even though the two girls don't enjoy the lives their living they need to push through. Not everything in life is going to go our way and Princess and the Pauper shows this.
And lastly, Arnie Roth did an incredible job on the music for this movie. I first listened to these songs as a child and after years, I still remembered them. Roth really out done himself with one.
All together Barbie in The Princess and the Paper, is the movie of the century that withholds class, maturity, and fun. This movie, surely, has gone down in Barbie history.
