I don't get the negative reviews of this outstanding piece of entertainment. Because that's what it is. It's not a doctoral thesis on superheroes. Great plot, great direction, interesting characters and great acting & action. Pretension rules reviews these days.

Atomic Blonde reminds me of my very first James Bond movie: it was visually stunning, had the coolest of leads, a fantastic soundtrack and thrilling action from start to finish. I can immerse myself in movies like this and be entertained without once worrying whether a plot analysis might lead to a PhD thesis.
