My wife and I were excited to see this because 1, it was shot in the town next to us, and 2, every female in my wife's family is gaga for Sam Elliot. It had a pretty good beginning, but shortly into it, it begins to confuse. The scene that focused on his breakfast plate, only to climax by him feeding his dog some sausage...??? That's it! There was no other reason to focus on his breakfast the way the "director" did. Just to give the dog a snack. The director must be a dog lover because he introduced another dog into the movie with no explanation or apparent reason. He just wants you to know that he loves dogs? It's a shame because Sam Elliot did his job. He was very good, but not good enough to prevent this trainwreck.
