Love this show! I have watched for over 40 years and no other show on TV has lasted as long with most of the same actors and actresses with ongoing story lines that scoop you up and carry you away. If you have never watched, I challenge you to tune in for one week and you might be hooked to watch all the time. I have grown up with the show and it has always taken the time to bring awareness to things like cancer, Alzheimer disease, teenage pregnancy, heart disease, epilepsy, etc. The characters are lively and charismatic and they never fail to make me want to watch again and again.

The overall story is sad. Will Smith spends the movie sad. The characters for the most part are sad, experiencing lifes tragedies and rough roads. The best thing I found about this movie was the message that you should not be on your phone, or even looking at your phone, when you are driving. Dark, sad, depressing, and just not worth the watch. If I want to feel the way this movie made me feel, I could watch the daily news. That being said, my son and husband liked the movie. I guess I just like a happy ending.
