You can't beat the orginal .But this is still wroth a watch .You have Bill Moseley as the 'killer Santa claus '. Some of the twin peaks actors .Dream like sequences .A different spin on the series. With some good 80s humor .Monte Hellman isn't everyone's cup of tea .When it comes to director's.His style is abit odd and slower than most director's .But I like what he's done here and I would rewatch it !

Joe Spinell best work in my opinion. The mood , atmosphere , acting , the pace and effects are all perfect .Out of the 100s of serial killer films out there .This one is one of the few that has stuck with me. Very unique deranged and different.My only problem is there isn't more like it . A must see !!!
