It has been a long time since I actually watched a Hindi movie due to badly written films and the "Indian Audience will accept anything thrown at them" attitude of the movie industry but since the Covid has increased my thirst for new content, I sat down to watch it with an open mind.
This is one of the worst movies I have seen, after witnessing the upside-down moving ghost in the first murder I can easily see that the director or the entire team has ZERO creativity or originality
1. Some of the scenes end abruptly for the sake of the next scene with no collaboration with the last one.
2. The scene before the Burj Kalifa song was so forced, it was so pathetically written.
2. When the scene suddenly cut off to an abandoned warehouse that is perfectly lit from every side and where a single guy is drinking.
3. Copied action scenes from Kung Fu Hustle and The Mummy.
4. Using LEMONGRASS TEA as the best method that the Director could think of to introduce the ghost into Akshay.
5. The 10 minutes of the movie that had anything good to watch was the core of the movie i.e the Trans issue in the world where Sharad was surprisingly good.
6. Kiara was just another pretty thing to look at as she has no role to play.
7. And was the idea to improve treatment of the Trans Community using a 1970`s concept of BHOOT the BEST IDEA that was available to the entire team of producers...????
8. And the MOST IMP, the Director was trying to play with the concept of Hindu and Muslim by letting the Pandit Detect the Ghost and the Imam to Trap the Ghost, BUT Come on, at least write a better scene.
The main idea of the movie was depicted in a hurry which gave the impression that it wasn't much valued, the core was not much important to the makers, so like always ultimately it was pretense care.
I can't understand why we have a youth that will fixate on a World of Pretence that is the Movie Industry. I hope our youth knows that acting is not a reality.
We have a lot of work to do if we want to be taken seriously in Global Cinema.
