10mins into the film and I was struggling to continue but for th4 sake if the 90s film I continued but it was VERY VETY PAINFUL! Twigs acting was horrid! I felt nothing but confusion until the end. It was extremely short and no character build up to feel anything for anyone. It was just HORRID which is shame as I expected them to do so much more. Stick to the 90s version peeps.

This was brilliant but so upsetting at the same time. The fact that the church hid such evil men instead of chastising them. The religion is not bad but some of the people pretending to do God's work are evil and demonic. Heart goes out to all victims and sad they were not comforted but instead not heard. They were children.

Made it to season 2 and I sm NONE THE WISER!. Stories are slow only watching for the actresses I have grown up to love but I have been bored throughout which is annoying, I wanted more scare more chills but all I'm getting is annoying circumstances.

The only issue I had was how uncomfortable she and her people made Brian feel at all times. The constant black this black that, just stop! Only us black folk get it so why remind him constantly he wouldn't understand that feeling, the message is the love, let go of the insecurities of others and allow yourselves to fall in love.
