I finished the book in just a day. It's dark and disturbing and makes your soul churn at places. It is fast paced and will make you cry for Heer. In addition, it's reflective of how Islam has been abused by men to suit their own agenda, making a woman a scapegoat of honour in the name of religion. If you're prepared for a headache after you put down the book, I highly recommend it.
