I Love Will Smith's 2005 Album LOST & FOUND, it's got plenty of fun party style beats that still feel fresh after all this time (2024 Now!!!) There's a very unique sound to this album that's so different from every other album Will Smith has ever made. I grew up in the 90's as a teenager & Will Smith was my introduction to Rap music/Hip Hop because i constantly played his Big Willie Style album & his FP & JJ album Code Red. Then later i discovered his excellent Willennium album & his decent (but not great) Born to Reign. Big Willie Style (1997) is Smith's Classic album & biggest hit, followed by Willennium that's equally excellent. Smith is still my favourite Rapper (& Actor) because you can listen to his feel good songs with family around (i have kids) & as a family man i feel his good-hearted lyrics & that need to be positive in a dark world. Will Smith is an idol, an icon of Cinema, t.v & music. The Album LOST & FOUND is filled with good beats & witty humourous lyrics with a Will Smith that's often confrontational & more rugged that he's ever been. Will feels hungry here as he raps superbly sharp & ferociously focused like a shark circling its prey & taking digs at it. People forget how good Will is as a rapper & a what a smart lyricist he also is. Lost & Found is so refreshing still because its an album made of passion for hip hop & a personalised creative production from a Rapper/Actor returning to the mic once again. Will spits smarty written raps with confidence & helped by refreshing production. So nice to listen to a rappers album with No bullshi# talk about guns & drugs & all that depressing nonsense. Will is a real man, a husband, a father & all around family man & he's proud of that. I feel with this album its Will Smith's most personal, most thoughtful & most impressive of all his albums. Haters call him corny become he isn't obsessed with "Gang Culture" & doesn't act hard all the time or ignorant or rough, he is who he is & stands proud. I love this album best of his because he keeps things mostly fun & bouncy but still holds his own as an excellent rapper with alot of personality. Actually Will is a veteran rapper but people ignore the huge mega impact he had on Hip Hop he is a big part of Hip Hop History!!! Big Will drops solid raps on Lost & Found with more skillful tone, that are playful, harmless & very catchy but also shows his vulnerable side & his sarcastic side & angry side (but done with no bad language of course) he has real gems on this underrated hot album like "Could You Love Me" & "Tell Me Why" & "Lost & Found" & "Here He Comes" & "Mr. Nice Guy" to name a few i really love. Will Smith definitely comes accross more tougher on this album & it's better for it because why shouldn't he stand his ground some times, why should he take all the nasty criticism constantly. There's stuff bothering Will & things are on his mind & here he finally airs out some of his views. This is a deeper album & Will has stuff he needs to get off his chest. I will always adore Lost & Found its an album i know every word to & it's a special album I've been listening to since it's first release in 2005!!! I appreciate this album & Will Smith even more so today with how bad the rap game has gotten. I love many rappers but Big Will is my number one. Lost & Found is actually real damn entertaining rap from a much better time in hip hop. This album would probably be a 4 star rating but because the album means alot to me i give it a 5 star rating because its one of my most listened to albums ever by any artist ever with BWS & Willennium.
