All in all, it's very sad. With each action, there's a consequence. In and for anything. Consequence can be good or bad. I wasn't impressed at all with the police force, namely the retired sherriff. I'd be embarrassed if I was him. He was part of the problem. Did he forget about "serve and protect"?? I've seen other people in that line of work who also play that game. Gives them such a bad rep.
