Joaquin Phoenix is arguably one of the best actors of this time-period. And to say that Woody Norman, Jesse, is incredible is an understatement. The relationship that develops between Uncle Johnny and Jesse is believable: heartfelt, at times frustrating, poignant and real. There's nothing Hollywoodish about this movie. Loved it!
