Seems that efforts have been made to match the original play but it falls short. Donalbain's character is not even mentioned. It seems very odd that Malcolm finds out that Macbeth has murdered Duncan and yet he sees him into the face and flees away, which also doesn't depict the original writings. At many places the writings are twisted. Well, the imagination in my head while reading the play is much better than what the movie portrays.
