The beginning showed promise but overall I feel the switch of directors was the downfall. The actors more than do their job but I saw La Llorona (which I did not enjoy) and tried to be optimistic despite that. Homeboy should probably stop directing big Hollywood horror. The colors yellow and gold were used so much it seem to almost be joking about being terrifying. This Conjuring movie is a watered down and stale installment of the franchise. So disappointed. I really regret paying to see it a lot.
