The tears are making the world blurry so ill keep this short. I loved this movie. It is heartbreaking and I cried through the majority of the movie but the message sent, particularly during the end of the movie, was emotionally uplifting. It has its flaws, but the heart of the story is still there. The casting and acting were done well, true emotions are hard to capture, but at its root, it helps to capture the pain and suffering that can be happening behind close doors. It is not overly dramatic or filled with unnecessary teenage bickering but is focused on developing a connection between characters and topics. This movie is 100% worth a watch, even though my eyes are still trying to water my face through this review.
cinematography, angles and shot create a visually beautiful picture and the pacing is well constructed.
