Though the makers of the movie have succeeded in replicating each and every scene form the original movie Bhagmati, Bhumi Pednekar's performance was a huge disappointment. Nowhere close to that delivered by Anushka Shetty in the original movie. Very mediocre delivery of dialogues, low energy, the aura of the character was entirely missing. She spoke hindi as if she just learned it. Moreover, i believe there was some confusion regarding the name of the movie itself, Durgavati OR Durgamati. If you follow lip movments of Bhumi, you will notice she says Durgavati, while the dubbed voice says Durgamati. Huge blunder. Overall, a very dull movie.
