33 minutes in and nothing interesting yet. No surprises. I was hoping for the Pompeii: A Novel by Robert Harris. Excellent novel.This isn't it. All that work on the killing scenes at the beginning just to say Milo is the only survivor and becomes a captive is over-the-top.Kiefer Sutherland cast as Corvus seems misplaced. 3 stars is generous.

After the flight over the border, things slow down. That's when I lose interest and decide to google the film's plot to see if it's worthwhile to continue watching. It doesn't seem very interesting.

Watching this was fun. Good job Julian Fellowes!
