This is a highly anticipated series even before it started. But the series is beyond everyone’s expectations. The series is a rollercoaster ride of emotions, the story is beautifully tailored, the production and cinematography are well-made and so pleasing to viewers and each scene are wonderfully directed. The editing and musical score are highly praised. Each episode is not gone wasted.
Hae-In and Jisoo are matched made in heaven. Hae-In delivers his most prominent work so far (after his success in D.P.) He is “a man of few words” but his eyes speak, his eyes tell all his emotions without uttering a single word. But then, Jisoo was a shocking surprised. She is the heart of the show. Jisoo acts as if she has done multiple series already. This is her Sweetest Breakthrough. Hae-In and Jisoo compliment each other. The camera loves them, even if its a bit too painful to watch some of their confrontation scenes. The second and supporting leads are well-chosen, no one cuts the acting momentum and thrill especially for those big jam-packed action scenes. This is, I think, the most outstanding ensemble cast I have watched so far in Korean Series.
Young-Ru is Soo-Hoo’s salvation and redemption. This is a modern day Romeo and Juliet of against-all-odds tragic love story. Well Done, Snowdrop Team. Highly Recommended. The series is so worthy to watch.
