I just watched the movie because netflix had added it to the best horror movies saying only one out of hundred watched the movie until the end. I thought yes, finally a good horror movie. Turns out the reason why no one watched it til the end was because it was so boring. It had a good storyline but it wasn’t gripping. I was literally falling asleep watching it. A good horror movie has to hold you on the edge of your seat and it shouldn’t let you sleep at night. This was a basic thriller with a basic beginning with an even more basic storyline but with good acting. If you’re looking for a true story thriller or a meh horror movie this could be my suggestion to you. Otherwise, if you’re like me and are actually looking for a genuinely good horror movie that actually scares you this shouldn’t be among your options. Overall it wasn’t a bad movie but it wasn’t the scariest. Not by a long shot.

Honestly I love this show because of how not only it shows us how firefighters do their jobs but they also show us the struggles they have and many other gripping storylines to keep you watching. I have no idea how I even found the series but from the first day I started watching I fell in love with the characters, the storylines, the major character developments, the hardships and relationships. The way some characters are still a mystery (cough Buck cough) and the way we got to see some characters backstories and how they became who they are today and what affected them was really touching and invested me in their lives. And even though we thought we knew everything about some characters we discovered there are still tons of secrets waiting to be uncovered from the season 4 promo videos. I really hope if you’re here and reading the reviews to see if this a show you should be watching you decide that 9-1-1 is worth giving it a try; you won’t regret it. (The same goes for the spin-off so if you like this you should definitely give that a watch too)
