Naseer's acting makes you feel like he is Ghalib personified while the other characters swiftly touches and impacts his life. The music by Jagjit Singh and Chitra, the qalam, the sher o shayari the overall rustic feel of a forgotten era makes you believe how life was still complex, delicate and intriguing back in the 1850s. Do watch this with completely relaxed mind and a lot of time where you can focus on each word and masterfully decorated lines and prose. Ghalib is a legend of India and we should be proud what he has given to us literally. Well done Gulzar saab for this amazingly crafted virtual biography.
