I really got hooked fast on this. It reminds me of Sex in the City, but a different "crew and view". I couldn't help but to slam out the entire first season in two nights, so that made NPH's character on high anxiety level for me. Lots of NYC charm from old flats to modern penthouses and everything in between. Reminds me of the fun from years ago. Hoping for season two ASAP. All the characters are great. Cast is fantastic, really like seeing Tisha Campbell back. Just one point for her and please don't be offended. Your hair is too long and looks dated but the main thing is, it covers your face too much.

I didn't think this would be as intriguing as it is. I usually don't like to watch anything with subtitles because it draws me away from the nuances of the actors. It is so well acted and really had me wanting to know the background of Sweden during the war to understand where the different generations of the characters were coming from. This series has me understanding each character and their perspectives. It makes for such a well-balanced view of the presentation. I read where it is the Swedish Downton Abbey, but DA had a lot more "ups" than The Restaurant. I did some reading about Sweden during WWII and it helped me a lot to understand the atmosphere of the country and period here. I haven't finished it yet but, it is a wonderful piece and I highly recommend it. Kudos to all of the actors.
