A film that sends the worst possible message to teenage girls around the world. That it's okay for boys to control every aspect of your life because they think it's what's best for you and lie to your best friend to not hurt his feelings. The main love interest is a psychopath with a history of violence and you expect me to believe this girl will suddenly make him not? EVEN THOUGH mental health professionals have not been able to solve the problem? I get its just a movie but its so unrealistic and awful and i thought the whole "do everything a boy tells you to do" aspect was outdated and outright stupid. The no relative rule ONLY applies to his brother because her sibling is far too young anyway. It's a dumb rule and he should be ashamed for enforcing it. If you're going to have a terrible movie at least have a good message. This movie is terrible and also has a terrible message.
