An interesting look at Rigveda times.
It's definitely a first book of it's kind.We generally do not associate a normal kind of setting or regular civilians when we think of Riveda times, though come to think of it...why not?
That people in Rigveda times could also have all the emotions, trivialities, power plays, jealousy ,and needless to say ruthless murders for power was indeed interesting
Also, the two women characters-Queen and Ghosa were portrayed to be strong, and influential which was noteworthy to me.
Did women indeed hold authoritative positions then or was it just in this story?
I felt may be Kasyspa and Agastya's investigative methods could have been detailed furthermore.
Overall an interesting read.
