It's just incredible! I have always loved Star Trek, and especially TNG, but this is incredibly rich, superlative story telling and character development at it's finest... The tremendous amount of resources put into the set design, and visual beauty of the series, doesn't feel just like pretty, big-budget action special effects, for the sake of garnering "oohs and awes." It actually enhances the narrative. In my humble opinion, this is probably the best show on television right now!
