So I’m not a fan of Mr Beast and actively avoid most of his YouTube uploads, however I quite enjoyed the first 2 episodes So far I feel like the games really do give a chance of winning, Mr beast offers money to normal people who need money and I think this allows viewers to relate to the games. You ask yourself what would I do in the same situation, me personally I would have stopped at the very first challenge but it’s very Interesting to see how normal people react in high pressure situations and to see normal emotions. I have definitely enjoyed what I have seen so far and I don’t doubt that mr beast is going to make a killing off of this series and subsequent series In the future.

I am writing this having seen halfway through the season whilst waiting for HOTD episodes to air. So the first episode is purely character Introduction and this does make for a disjointed first episode. If you can get through that and you don’t care too much about the specifics of skin colour and history then this is the show for you. Some elements annoyed me (especially unrealistic female roles for that time period) however I am enjoying the storyline and the character development. The nudity is unnecessary but I think more expected of medieval shows given its predecessors. I do find myself trying to remember who some of the characters are when they do have a scene but all in all the show is enjoyable to watch and from what I have seen I hope they will do a second season.

So I did play the games, but havent read the books. I have so far watched the first 5 episodes, the time jumps had me slightly confused but I did manage to work things out. I have to say I LOVE IT. Henry Cavill as Geraldt is fantastic. The first episode was amazing 2nd a bit slow but it does pick up and I'm hooked. :) graphics are great, costumes are great anf overall it's just great and totally bingeworthy.
