I just watched the Chuck and Penny episode. Drama was obviously construed. Still quite entertaining. I live in their original neighborhood in Vancouver (Oakridge) and where they moved to was South Richmond (Steveston), a suburb 45-60 min in rush hour (even though the show said it was in their neighborhood) with bridge traffic to get into the city. Locations were not comparable; central urban vs near farmland. So no wonder they got a new house for only 2.4 million.
