Although the book is quite disturbing at first, the concept and the love story is very interesting. The movie based on the book is graphic yet surprisingly does capture the meaning of the story. I enjoyed reading this book. If you don't enjoy reading romance novels this book is not for you, but if you do enjoy then you should definitely consider.
