The Legend of Zorro is not as good as the first one but the film is watchable. However, It doesn't save the plot of this movie from being derivative. It was great to see Antonio Banderas as the masked swordsmen again and Catherine Zeta-Jones is stunning as ever. But it lacked what made the first one so good especially the chemistry between Antonio and Catherine which was one of the highlights of the first film in the sequel it loses that spark and becomes another romance drama with humor added into it. Not only that but this film plays like a Saturday morning cartoon rather than a true follow-up. Overall it's still an enjoyable film but not a good sequel to the first one.
