I love these gritty early 70s movies, they certainly don't make them like this any more.

Was not really able to connect with this movie, felt very shallow compared to the likes of Goodfellas, Casino, etc. Got 45 minutes in, then pull the DVD. Obviously much loved by many though.

A great story with a strong talented cast, who merge their talents and roles seamlessly. Classic "Road Movie" from the seventies that is a must watch, and is a candidate for multiple re-watches. The personal bond that Eastwood and Bridges form on screen in this story is a testament to the incredible talents possessed by both, and Kennedy intercepts with a perfect blend of aggravation and integration with the pair. Add in the presences of Jeffrey Lewis, Bill Kinney and Gary Busey, along with Erica Hagen and Catherine Bach, then fasten your seat belt and get ready for the trip.
