Winona Daphne

This film is stunning!! Very good comedic timing and the characters are really likeable. The male romantic interest RESPECTS the women that he is attracted to, and she inspires him to be more compassionate and leading. The main character has a really lovely found family bond with her servants despite losing both her parents at her young age. This film is the BEST Cinderella adaption, it's simply perfect. The Disney live action doesn't hold a candle to this! The costumes are also very fun to look at. There are lots of fun moments where we get to watch the main leads develop feelings for each other. A very playful romance with lots at stake.

it's a realistic portrayal of how the friendships between the mean girls in high school were. there's always a friend that they keep around solely to belittle and that's what bonds them together. the film makes it very clear that the 3 main women are awful friends (and probably awful people with messy lives), and it's fun to watch them get in deeper water that they brought to themselves. surprisingly, there is actual friendship at the end. it's actually realistic and not one of those 'feel good' female friendship films. it definitely pokes fun at how superficial some female friendships can be.

Boring. The suspenseful moments were boring. The set up scenes were boring. The characters are boring. I thought Finn wolfhard would be the main character. The main characters were these two kids, one was annoying and the other was unlikeable. Not worth watching in cinemas. Not at all as interesting as the 1st ghostbusters.

visually stunning but the story feels hollow, it lacks substance. we as the audience are not given enough time or moments to emotionally connect with any of the characters. the main lead clara jumps into situations without any semblance of a plan. every battle is easily won, there are no stakes. i seriously think that the magical world would have carried on fine if she hadn't turned up. i don't understand the role of any of those magical characters. and why did the land of amusement end up such a wreck? the actors are all very good with immense talent. the visual design was truly spectacular. the music was always wonderful. but the story is very "meh" unfortunately :(
