Joker is a a beautifully twisted visceral experience like a new age taxi driver. Jaquin phoneix deserves the oscar he gave a sledgehammer performance you cant take your eyes off of him even though hes so scary you want to look away, film of the year in my opinion although ounce upon a time in Hollywood comes in second.

Ad astra is a major space odyssey for sure. The whole film is in space, it's a visually stunning film it's a bit slow at times although brad pitt soars and carries the movie single handedly,

Ounce upon a time in hollywood is one of tarantino's best films. Although it wasn't as violent as I thought and more of acomedy than i anticipated. Still the visual aspects of hippie hollywood and the lead performances from Brad Pitt and Leo DiCaprio make this a major success from Tarantino, DiCaprio delivers a stunning and hilarious performance as emotional Rick dalton and Pitt is the definition of cool as the badass cliff booth, you'll want to watch this movie more than ounce I guarantee it

Paul neman proves in this film that he's on the level of Marlon Brando. His emotional range in this film is superb. The charecter brick is a broken/complex alcoholic and paul Newman played it perfectly. He should of won the oscar. The film was a entertaining melo drama that you can tell was a play first because of the one setting theme. If your a fan of watching raw human emotions on the screen then please go see this classic. Also I'm not afraid to say as a man that paul neman is one handsome devil in this one.

Babel at it's core is a international version of 21 grams, basically the intersecting of lives based on tragedy. It's not as good as 21 grams or the revanant but aleandrro innartu still delivers an impactful drama with solid peformances from Brad pitt and Cate Blanchett. The film was pretty confusing in all but the acting all around was substantial.

I'm in awe of casey Affleck because of his peformance in this movie. His portrayal of a broken/haunted man is absolutely stunning, he deserves the highest award for acting. Manchester by the sea as a whole is a depressing but brilliant film. It brings out the realism of tragedy and human loss no sugar coding.

A beautiful melancholic drama that takes you on an emotional journey through the life of wladylsaw szpilman, a holocaust survivor played by adrian brody, who delivers a powerhouse peformance. It seemed like a very honest and realistic portrayal of someone just trying to survive.

I couldn't take my eyes off of Christopher abbot his peformance was absolutely captivating, he makes you feel what he's going through that's what makes a great actor, he's volatile emotionally style reminds me of a young robert de niro. The film is an amazing drama.

Two excellent peformances from Bradley cooper and lady gaga together they look like a true love story, although the movie was to much of a concert to me it focuses to much on the music and not enough on the characters, great acting but the movie not so much

Johnny depp pulls of a stone cold stunning peformance as the stone cold gangster whitey bulger, the film is a awesome crime drama that takes you on a ride through the gangster lifestyle reminded me of a classic Scorsese gangster flick it's a must see
