THIS IS A KIDS MOVIE, is what I'm saying this movie promised to be. I have seen critics given this movie a hard time being somewhat mediocre. Sure some of Lebron acting could used some work, there were some cringe in the film and as far as the plot is somewhat confusing. But considering this is a movie FOR KIDS its alright. As an grown adult I won't be much interested in this film but my children that loves cartoons will enjoy this. This movie has some really great 2D & 3D animation and a bit of easter eggs and cameos that will keep the family entertained. This has much more stuff here than past cartoon movies such as the Tom & Jerry movie and is worth the time to watch(in my opinion).

The movie has a fine mix of action and gore. The fighting cherography was amazing especially from both Scorpion & Sub-Zero and the Fatalities/Brutalities were just enough for anyone who's a fan to Mortal Kombat. The downside were some of the acting, for some like Jax,Sonya and especially Kano who steal the movie was great. But for others like Raiden,Shang Tsung and 😥*sigh* Cole Young could not get me invested with them (especially Cole). Overall the movie was a bit fun and I enjoy it and it beats the last MK movie (Annihilation) out of the park and if you're a Mortal Kombat fan you might enjoy this movie as it is. I give it a 7/10, not a flawless but still a victory.🐲 If there was anything in this movie I would want to change it will probably be the story in some regards like for example: Cole Young is supposedly be a relative to Scorpion in this movie, instead of Cole Young they could replaced him with Takeada Takahashi since he's more likely to have some lineage to the Shirai Ryu plus it will make more sense with his powers having to teleport,control fire and have some telepathy like his father who at the end starts searching for rather than Johnny Cage. 2nd thing is the whole dragon mark tattoo that is given to some of the fighters that could unlock there true powers 😑 yeah that's dumb. Instead just have those fighters that Raiden seeks out that have some hidden potential that he believes could save earthrealm whereas Jax after getting his arms destroyed and is put out of action until MK 2 and gets robot arms. And Sonya just fights with her natural own ability and gets upgraded with her energy rings also in the next movie while everyone else Liu Kang,Kung Lao,Kabal,etc fights fights with ability they earn from some means (example: training,enhancements,etc). I believed with all of these synopsis examples the story would be a bit better ( in my opinion of course).
