This book was life-altering for me. I wrote my own book after "touching my dragon," thanks to James Hatch's example of emotional recovery, realizing he had done the best he could, and he wouldn't change anything. In his book he tells about many instances of human love and kindness, rather than fear and anger, guiding the actions of his fellow soldiers, rescuers and medical professionals. It was heart warming and fortifying for me in my struggles as the caregiver of my own wounded warrior.
