Let’s just cover a few things. The overall gist of the movie was supposed to be about Clifford and how much the community loved him. It seemed to focus a lot more on Emily & her life more. Giving her this “emo “ I’m poor type of image when in the cartoon. Clifford was found as a puppy and stayed a puppy until Emily was a teenager. She was always cheerful and excited and had lots of friends whom also had dogs which became Clifford’s friends. There was never truly an antagonist in Clifford and friends. Not sure why there had to be one? Also the movie seemed to be made for people who are familiar with Clifford so if you brought or are bringing your child who won’t understand , don’t be mad for them . Be mad for yourselves that they basically made a whole new image for this once popular children’s show. Next they’re going to make a live action of calliou and put too much real life depressing references to it. We don’t need that after the year we had .
