I absolutely LOVED this movie. I was worried about many of the negative reviews I had read prior to seeing it, but I have enjoyed Emilia Clarke these last many years in “Game of Thrones” and adored Henry Golding in “Crazy, Rich Asians,” and decided to give it a go. The chemistry between the two leading actors is adorable and Emilia has done a great job of showing us a different side of her acting ability. The movie was enjoyable, and while I knew there was going to be some sort of “twist,” I didn’t figure out that twist until it actually happened. Be prepared to laugh and cry. Combined with the music of George Michael and knowing his unhappy ending, the movie, for me, became all the more poignant. PLEASE DON’T BE SWAYED BY THE NEAGTOVE REVIEWS—-this is an enjoyable escape from the real world and will leave you thinking about what you just saw for days after watching. The acting is well done and the story is enjoyable.
