No, this show is not perfect, but it does have interesting storylines and is not meant to portray history exactly as it happened. It is called creative liberty people. Since accents have evolved over time and continue to do so, we cannot be exactly sure just how they spoke during this time periods. That said, the actors do a decent job at them. I wish Chesterfield was still on the show as he was my favorite, but I think some of the new characters will be great. I would love to see more of Mary and Sokanon. And Fisher will be a nice addition as well.
