Expected a 75% Thalaivar & 25% Ranjith movie, but turned out to be 50:50. Ranjith pushes his ideology too much movie after movie. In a gangster movie, we always expect a Baasha, but hard to accept that, at 68, Thalaivar can’t repeat it if the script does not give scope. With age, he beautifully gives himself fully to the directors’ desires & still pushes the boundaries. Forever Super Star.
