The animation is not good. And in addition to the animation not being good, it's just emotion bait. The series is not well written at all, using basic tactics like overexagersted discrimination, thoughtless xenophobia, religious zealotry, and greed in order tk elicit a response from the viewer. It's a series with what it claims to be some kind of a goal, but each episode just feels like one of the plotless "monster of the week" TV shows from the 90s/2000s. This format, was fine when we were children who just liked cool monsters and cool fights, but we're not children anymore and the target audience isn't children since the rsting is 16+ Were told the goal of the main character, but things progress so slowly that it genuinely feels like a waste of time watching it. If this is what people believe anime is or should be, then I finally understand why most people i know don't respect it as a serious medium for entertainment.
